STANDARD ITINERARY

0845hrs: Meet at hotel in Kota Kinabalu (KK) city area and transfer to Tanjung Aru Train Station.

1000hrs: On board the mid-century British North Borneo Vulcan Steam Engine Train. Depart with its colonial-styled carriages. The ride will pass along the coast of South China Sea. Enjoy scenic countryside view of local villages, rubber plantation, rice fields and mangrove swamps. Along the way, short stop at Kinarut town to visit the Buddhist Temple before arriving at Papar town. On your return ride, a typical colonial 'Tiffin' styled lunch will be served highlighting the exotic blend of colonial and local cuisine.

1345hrs: Expected arrival at Tanjung Aru Train Station. Transfer back to you respective hotel.

Please take note that all transportation services will be based on Seat-In-Coach (SIC). This is a transfer service which guests may share the vehicle with other guests. This is also a Door-To-Door (DTD) service with multiple pickups & dropoffs throughout the journey. So do expect some short delay or waiting time.
Outskirt hotel (eg. Rasa Ria Resort, Nexus Resort, hotel or resort in Kinarut area) pickup charges at RM30.00 per person.

Passengers are offered free seating on one of the five colonial-styled train carriages.
Each carriages provides the amenity of a modern unisex washroom.
Each carriages accommodate 16 passengers, with a total train capacity of 80 passengers.
Windows remain open throughout the journey to enhance the overall heritage experience.
High-powered fans line the ceilings to ensure maximum comfort.
