This Sea Kayaking tour is a relaxed 6.6km return trip exploring Mamutik Island. Start paddling at Tanjung Aru Beach and continue along the scenic coast line to Magic Coral Island. You will stop here for a rest and snorkeling. Mamutik Island is the smallest island out of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park which consists of 5 islands. After lunch, guest will have free leisure time to enjoy the pristine ocean & beaches. There are many activities available including short jungle trails, swimming in the crystal clear water, snorkeling or just sunbathing on the beach. While snorkeling, guest can spot fish like sergeant major, parrot fish, butterfly fish, angle fish and the cute clown anemone fish. The island provides activities such as Banana Boat Ride, Paragliding and Sea Walking (at own extra cost). Time to say goodbye to paradise and start paddling back to Tanjung Aru beach, witnessing a scenic view of the Sabahan style sunset. What a beautiful end to the day!

STANDARD ITINERARY

0800hrs: Meet at hotel in Kota Kinabalu (KK) city area and transfer directly to Tanjung Aru Beach (1st beach) / starting point. 0830hrs: Upon arrival, a safety briefing will be carried out by the tour leader / Kayaker in charge followed with an equipment inspection. 0900hrs: Start paddling towards Magic Coral Island. Rest before continuing onto Mamutik Island, one of the best diving spot in Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Free at your own leisure or do optional activities; water sports, jungle trekking, diving and etc (guest own account). 1230hrs: Lunch will be served at Mamutik Island. 1700hrs: Start gearing up and preparing for the return paddle to Tanjung Aru beach. Along the way back, enjoy the spectacular sunset view. 1800hrs-1900hrs: Get change and freshen up before transfer back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu city area.

Pick Up Service and Transport Arrangement:

Our friendly tour guide/representative will greet and meet you at the hotel lobby. Should you encounter difficulties in locating our representative, please call the hotline number given for further assistance.
Please take note that all transportations will be based on Seat-In-Coach (SIC). This is a transfer service which guests may share the vehicle with other guests. This is also a Door-To-Door (DTD) service with multiple pickups and dropoff throughout the journey. Do expect some delay and short waiting time.

All participants MUST be physically fit.
Participants MUST be in the age of 12 years old to 65 years old.
Children the above of 12 years old are considered as an adult.
Children below the age of 12 years old are STRICTLY NOT PERMITTED to join Sea Adventure Kayaking Tour.
Please inform to us when making booking if there is a special dietery request (eg. Vegetarian).
All participants will be required to sign an Indemnity Form before the tour commence.
For safety reasons, tour and activities are dependent on SEA & WEATHER CONDITIONS. We reserve the rights to CANCEL or POSTPONE the tour or any activities if we deem there is an absence of a safe environment. We monitor closely weather changes through the Sabah Meteorological Department and will reconfirm all tours booked at least 1 day in advance for any postponement or cancellations due to bad weather.
