STANDARD ITINERARY

DAY 1

0830hrs: Meet at hotel in Kota Kinabalu (KK) city area and transfer to Nabalu Handicraft Centre at Pekan Nabalu to browse some local handicrafts and souvenirs. Nabalu is a place where the local natives gather to sell local produce such as fruits, vegetables and handicraft souvenirs. If you're lucky, you may capture stunning views of Mountain Kinabalu from here. 1100hrs: Depart for about 1.5hr drive to Poring Hot Spring. Poring Hot Spring got its name from the tall bamboo plant that is abundant in that area. Inside the area, there are open-air Japanese style bathubs where visitors can soak themselves and let the invigorating sulfurous water stimulate the body. Visitors can also explore the Treetop Canopy Walkway. Experience the height of 41 metres above the ground and length of 157 metres. Visit the next attraction, Butterfly Farm, where it features a garden, nursery and hatchery for education, research and preservation purposes. Lunch will be served at local restaurant nearby. Evening: After the tour, transfer to Kundasang and check into hotel/lodge in Kundasang town. Free at your own leisure. Dinner will be served and overnight.

DAY 2

0600hrs: Wake up early to catch the sunrise. Appreciate the imposing morning beauty of Mount Kinabalu as it is slowly surrounded by the clouds. After breakfast, check out and proceed to Kinabalu National Park (KNP). Mount Kinabalu is the main attraction in Kinabalu National Park, also known as Malaysia's First World Heritage Site designated by UNESCO. Upon arrival, visit the Exhibition Hall, Botanical Garden, join the guided walk organized by Sabah Parks' ranger (guest own expenses) or you may want to explore the Silau-Silau trail. Kinabalu Park boasts an estimate of 4,500 species of plants which include 1,500 species of orchids, 77 of which are endemic to Kinabalu. The park also supports 289 species of birds and 290 different types of butterflies. 1200hrs: Lunch will be served at nearby restaurant. 1300hrs: After lunch, transfer back to your hotel Kota Kinabalu city. 1800hrs: Estimated time arrival in Kota Kinabalu city area.

Please take note that all transportation services will be based on Seat-In-Coach (SIC). This is a transfer service which guests may share the vehicle with other guests. This is also a Door-To-Door (DTD) service with multiple pickups & dropoffs throughout the journey. So do expect some short delay or waiting time.

Kinabalu Park is at high altitude approximately 1,500 metre above sea level, so it can get cold.
The Canopy Treetop Walkway is approximately 60 metre above the ground, not for the faint heart.
Poring Hot Spring's outdoor bathtub are for complimentary use and free of charge. Guests can rent indoors bathtubs but at own expense and subjected to availability.
